Public Housing Program

The rent is income based for our 306 units.  We calculate 30% of your gross income to determine how much you pay for rent. This amount (less approved HUD deductions like medical and child care expenses, etc.) is for not only for rent but also for lights and heat.

If the income-based rent is higher than the market we also manage another 100 unit complex called Van Rensselaer Village. You still must be within certain income guidelines but the rent is a fixed amount. Call us for more details as to which may be better for you.

Which complex should I apply for?
If you are 62 years of age or handicapped we have three senior apartment complexes. Visit the site for Daniel P. Quinn, Eugene Hanratta or Green Island for more information.

How to Apply.
To apply to live at one of our public housing developments, you can fill out our printable or on-line application. Go to the Application  page for more information.
